SAGE

      The Sarasota Association for Gifted Education, SAGE, was founded in 2008 by educators affiliated with Sarasota County's first cross-district professional learning community for gifted education teachers. Their first meeting was held in May, 2008, with 40 gifted education professionals meeting to share ideas and bridge gifted education programs throughout the district. 

Mission:

The mission of the Sarasota Association for Gifted Education is to provide an energizing network for professionals working in gifted education in order to foster the sharing of best practices, current research, and challenging resources to augment curriculum delivery for gifted students in Sarasota County.

Vision:

The vision of the Sarasota Association for Gifted Education is to provide equitable and exemplary services to all gifted students in Sarasota County by encouraging the collaboration of teachers and other professionals in the field to improve knowledge and skills required in gifted education classrooms.
